Does the collar interlining need to be turned inside out when washing in the washing machine?

It is best to turn the clothes over when washing the collar interlining in the washing machine. The specific reasons and precautions are as follows:
1. Reduce friction damage
After flipping the collar interlining, the outer fabric of the collar will not directly come into contact with the washing bucket or other clothing, effectively reducing wear and pilling caused by friction.

2. Protect the color and texture of the fabric
Flip over cleaning can avoid direct flushing of the outer fabric by water flow and detergent during the washing process, helping to maintain the bright color and intact texture of the collar interlining.

3. Prevent loose stitches
The seam of the collar interlining is usually fragile, and flipping it over for cleaning can reduce the stress on the seam and lower the risk of loosening caused by friction.

4. Reduce residual stains
When flipping over for cleaning, stains (such as sweat and grease) on the inside of the collar interlining are more likely to be directly affected by detergent, improving the cleaning effect.

5. It is better to use it with a laundry bag
In addition to flipping over, putting clothes into a laundry bag can further protect the collar and reduce collisions and pulling inside the washing machine.
